The ancient city of Venice has perfected the conservation of architecture... can it do the same for nature? On an existing garden island, new pavilions are dedicated to different aspects of plant species in hope of captivating visitors and encouraging them to engage in plant conservation. Alongside the pavilions the island holds research labs, nursery plots, and an ark that carries seeds and growing species across the globe.
